IB Recruitment Exam City 2025: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released the city slip for the Tier-1 exam for recruitment to 4987 posts of Security Assistant / Executive. Candidates can now check their exam city and date information by visiting mha.gov.in. There are a total of 4987 posts in the Intelligence Bureau Security Assistant / Executive Recruitment, out of which 2471 posts are unreserved, 1015 posts are OBC, 501 posts are EWS, 574 posts are SC, and 426 posts are reserved for the ST category.
The exam will be held on this day.
IB Security Assistant / Executive Recruitment Exam will be conducted on 29 and 30 September 2025, in which there will be four shifts on both days. The first shift will start at 8:30 am, the second at 11:30 am, the third at 2:30 pm, and the fourth at 5:30 pm. Candidates have to keep in mind that the gates will be closed 30 minutes before the start of the exam, so it is mandatory to reach the examination center on time.
Exam Pattern
Tier-1 exam will be conducted in 5 parts, each part will have 20 20 MCQs. Every question will be of 1 mark, and the 100-mark paper has to be completed in 1 hour. The exam includes General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical/Analytical/Logical Ability/Reasoning, English Language, and General Studies. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
After Tier-2, successful candidates will be called for an interview (personality test). The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Tier-1 exam and interview.
This much salary will be given.
The pay scale of the candidates selected in the Intelligence Bureau Security Assistant/Executive Recruitment will be Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 (Level-3).
