The Intelligence Bureau Security Assistant Recruitment Exam will be held on two days – September 29th and 30th, 2025 – at the examination centers designated by the Ministry of Home Affairs. The exam will be conducted in four shifts on both days. The first shift will begin at 8:30 am, the second shift at 11:30 am, the third shift at 2:30 pm, and the fourth shift at 5:30 pm.
Steps to Download the Admit Card
To download the IB Security Assistant Admit Card, first visit the official website mha.gov.in.
Click on the admit card link on the home page.
Now, enter your user ID, password, and the provided captcha code and click the Login button.
The admit card will then open on the screen, where you can download and print it.
Exam Pattern and Number of Posts
The IB Security Assistant Tier 1 exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions. Questions will be asked from General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical/Analytical/Logical Ability and Reasoning, English Language, and General Studies.
The question paper will be divided into 5 sections, each containing 20 questions. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. There is also a negative marking scheme in this exam. One-quarter of a mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. A total of 4987 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive.
