IB ACIO Tier-I Result 2025: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) has released the results of the Tier-1 exam for the ACIO Grade-II/Executive recruitment. The results are available on the official website of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). Candidates who took the exam can now check their scores and qualification status by visiting mha.gov.in.
The exam was conducted on September 16, 17, and 18, 2025, and was attended by lakhs of candidates. A total of 3,717 posts will be filled under this recruitment. Candidates who meet the cutoff marks will now be eligible for the next stage, the Tier-2 exam.

These include 1,537 posts for the General Category, 442 posts for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 946 posts for the Other Backward Classes (OBC), 566 posts for the Scheduled Castes (SC), and 226 posts for the Scheduled Tribes (ST).
How will the selection process be conducted?
Candidates for the IB ACIO recruitment will be selected in three stages: Tier-I, Tier-II, and Interview.
The first stage is the Tier-I exam, which carries 100 marks. It consists of multiple-choice questions from General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English, and General Studies. Candidates will have 60 minutes to complete this exam.
The second stage is Tier-II, which will be a descriptive paper of 50 marks. This includes essay writing for 30 marks and English comprehension and precis writing for 20 marks. Finally, there will be a Tier-III (Interview) with a total marking of 100 marks.
How much will you receive?
After selection for the IB ACIO Grade-II (Executive) position, candidates will receive a salary under the Level-7 pay scale, which can range from approximately ₹44,900 to ₹1,42,400 per month. Employees will also receive various allowances, such as HRA, DA, TA, and other benefits, as per central government regulations.
