Regarding educational qualifications, candidates from the Science stream required a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12, with Physics, Mathematics, and English as subjects. Additionally, holders of engineering diplomas and candidates who had completed a two-year professional course involving Physics and Mathematics were also eligible to apply.
