HPPSC: Admit card for Himachal JOA (IT) exam released; download it quickly...

The Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission (HPPSC/HPPRCA), Hamirpur, has released the admit card for the written examination for the post of Junior Office Assistant (IT) Job-Trainee. The examination will commence on September 28. This time, the exam will be conducted using digital OMR tablets. Candidates who have applied can download their admit cards by visiting the official recruitment portal.

What will be the exam schedule?
The HPRCA JOA (IT) examination will be held on September 28, 29, 30, and October 1, 2026. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. For the first shift, candidates must report at 8:00 AM; the gates will close at 9:30 AM, and the exam will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. For the second shift, the reporting time is 1:00 PM; the gates will close at 2:30 PM, and the exam will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Carry these documents to the exam center:
Admit card
2 passport-sized photographs
At least 2 original and valid photo identity proofs
Voter ID card
Aadhaar card
Printout of verified e-Aadhaar
Driving license
PAN card
e-PAN card

Candidates must carry either a printout of verified e-Aadhaar or a valid photo identity proof, such as a passport, to the exam center. Candidates will not be permitted to take the exam without an identity proof. If the authenticity of an identity proof is in doubt, the candidate will be required to present another valid photo ID. Photocopies of identity proofs will not be accepted.

The following items are prohibited in the exam hall:
Mobile phones, pagers, smartwatches, wristwatches, and earphones.
Bluetooth devices, microphones, health bands, and calculators.
Books, paper, pens, pencils, erasers, scales, and writing pads.
Pouches, handbags, purses, belts, and caps. Jewelry, bangles, bracelets, *Mangalsutras*, and other metal items.
Religious items and metal coins.
Cameras and other electronic gadgets.
Colored or wrapped water bottles.
Packaged or loose food items.
Any valuables.

Only the admit card and an original photo identity card will be allowed inside the examination hall.
Candidates are not required to bring their own pens or pencils; pens will be provided during the examination.
Avoid applying *Mehendi* (henna) on your hands or feet, as this may interfere with biometric verification.

What to do if you do not receive the password reset link?
If you do not receive the password reset link via email, first verify whether you entered the correct email ID while filling out the application form. If an incorrect email ID was entered, it cannot be changed later as per HPRCA rules; consequently, you will not receive the password reset link.

If your email ID is correct, be sure to check your Spam and Junk folders. If you still do not receive the link after verifying the email ID and checking the Spam/Junk folders, contact HPRCA via their official email ID or helpdesk number during working hours.

How to download the admit card
First, visit the official HPRCA recruitment portal.
Click on the link for the JOAIT 2026 admit card on the home page.
Enter the required login details, such as User ID and password.
Your admit card will appear on the screen after logging in.
Download the admit card and carefully verify all the information provided on it.
Take a printout of the admit card, keep it safe, and carry it with you to the examination center.
