HPCET 2025: Registration for Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test begins, apply by February 18..

HPCET 2025: Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has started the application process for admission to various courses including BTech, MSc, and MBA through Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2025. Interested candidates can apply before the last date 18 April 2025, after which no form will be accepted.

HPCET 2025 Exam Pattern: Exam Date and Pattern

HPTU will conduct the HPET exam on the 10th and 11th of May 2025. The exam will be in pen-and-paper mode and its duration will be three hours and fifteen minutes. The exam will consist of 150 objective multiple choice questions (MCQs) related to physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology.

HPCET 2025 Eligibility: Eligibility Criteria and Required Marks

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination from a recognized board or university.

Compulsory subjects should include Physics and Mathematics, while one of the subjects should be Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subjects.

A minimum of 45% marks is mandatory for general category students.

Reserved category (SC/ST/BPL) candidates must score 40% marks.

HPCET 2025: Application Fee

The application fee for SC, ST and BPL candidates is Rs 800. The application fee for other category candidates is Rs 1600. The application fee can be paid through UPI, net banking, credit or debit card.

Candidates can follow the following steps to apply for Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test:

First of all, visit the official website himtu.ac.in.

Click on the registration link available on the home page.

Fill in the required details, such as name, email ID, date of birth, and mobile number.

After the registration is complete, the candidate will receive the user ID and password in the mail.

Log in with the ID and password, and fill in the personal, academic, and contact details.

Upload scanned photo and signature in the prescribed format.

Pay the application fee through UPI, Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.

After the final submission, download the application form and keep a printout for future reference.
