HPCET 2025 Application: Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HPTU) has started the application process for Himachal Pradesh CET i.e. Common Entrance Test 2025. Students who are thinking of appearing in the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) this year, visit the official website of HPTU himtu.ac.in. Students are advised to submit the Himachal Pradesh CET form as soon as possible so that there is no problem in submitting the form. The last date for the APCET 2025 application is 18 April 2025. No applications will be accepted after this date.
HP CET 2025 Eligibility
Students who have passed the 12th examination with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or Technical or Vocational subject or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or institute can apply for Himachal Pradesh CET. The exam will be held in May.
The Himachal Pradesh CET 2025 exam will be conducted on the 10th and 11th of May 2025. This exam will be offline i.e. in pen and paper mode. There will be a total of 150 questions in this exam. These questions will be asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology subjects. The duration of the exam will be three hours and 15 minutes. All the questions in the exam will be multiple-choice. Students who pass HPCET 2025 will get admission in B.Tech, MS, and MBA courses for the 2025-26 academic session in various colleges of Himachal Pradesh.
Application fee
For HPCET 2025, candidates of unreserved category will have to pay a fee of Rs 1600 while SC, ST, OBC and BPL category candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 800. The application fee has to be paid in online mode.
How many marks are required to pass HPCET 2025
General category candidates will need 45 percent marks to pass HPCET 2025. On the other hand, reserved category candidates will have to score 40 percent marks.
