MP Board Result 2026: Lakhs of students are eagerly awaiting the MP Board results. Before the results are released, a common question arises in students' minds: how many marks are necessary to pass? The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has established specific passing criteria for the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. According to these rules, it is mandatory for students to secure passing marks in every individual subject. What Are the Passing Marks?

According to MP Board regulations, a student must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject to be declared 'Pass.' There are certain subjects—such as Science (Chemistry, Physics)—that comprise both a theory component and a practical component. In such cases, students are required to secure passing marks separately in both the theory and practical examinations. If a student fails in either one of these components, they will be considered to have failed the entire subject.
