Haryana Board Result 2026: The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has initiated the process of preparing the results for the Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations. The evaluation process for the answer sheets of the Class 10 and 12 board exams is scheduled to commence on April 2. To ensure accuracy and impartiality in marking, the Board has implemented a comprehensive and closely monitored evaluation procedure. Dr. Pawan Kumar, Chairman of the Haryana Board, stated, "The evaluation of Secondary (Academic/Open School) answer books will begin on April 2."
The Haryana Board Chairman further added that 6,969 teachers have been appointed to evaluate the Class 10 answer sheets. This process is scheduled to continue until April 14. Meanwhile, the evaluation of answer sheets for the Senior Secondary (Class 12) board examinations will begin on April 3. This process will run until April 28. Approximately 5,009 examiners will evaluate the Class 12 board exam answer sheets across 52 designated centers. The Board Chairman further confirmed that the results for the Senior Secondary examinations will be declared by the second week of May, following which the Class 10 results will be announced.
Each Examiner to Check 30 Answer Sheets
The Board Chairman explained that on the first day, an examiner will evaluate 15 answer sheets. Subsequently, examiners will be required to evaluate 30 answer sheets daily. Furthermore, 10 percent of the evaluated answer sheets will undergo a random review by the Chief Examiner. This year, the Haryana Board examinations commenced on February 25; the Class 12 examinations concluded on March 1, and the Class 10 examinations ended on March 20.
On-Screen Marking from Next Year
In an earlier announcement, the Haryana Board Chairman stated that the Board is actively working in alignment with the National Education Policy to make the education system more modern, flexible, and inclusive. He emphasized that greater emphasis will be placed on promoting technical and skill-based education to strengthen the prospects of students. In this context, the Chairman stated that preparations to introduce on-screen marking starting from the 2026–27 examination cycle have already begun; this is expected to enhance transparency in the evaluation process and lead to the earlier declaration of results.
