Often, students face significant difficulties in checking their results due to slow internet speeds or website server outages. To resolve this issue for students, the Board has introduced a special facility this time, allowing results to be checked via WhatsApp and SMS. This method is extremely fast and remarkably simple.

Using WhatsApp: Open WhatsApp on your mobile phone, type your 6-digit exam seat number, and send it to the Board’s official number: 6357300971. Within just a few seconds, your complete result will be delivered to you as a WhatsApp message.

How Many Marks Are Required to Pass?

According to Gujarat Board regulations, to pass the Class 10 examination, every student is required to secure a minimum of 33 percent marks in each individual subject, as well as in the aggregate of all subjects combined.

Opportunity for Compartment Exams

Students who have failed to secure 33 percent marks in one or two subjects—or have otherwise failed those subjects—need not worry. The Gujarat Board offers such students an opportunity to save their academic year. These students may fill out the form for the Compartment (Supplementary) examination. According to information provided by the Board, these supplementary examinations are scheduled to be conducted during the last week of June 2026.
