GSEB 12th Result 2026 Out: Gujarat Board Announces Class 12 Results; GUJCET Scores Released with Science & General Streams

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) has published the Class 12 (HSC) results. This year, the GUJCET 2026 results were declared simultaneously with the results for the Science, Arts, and Commerce (General Stream) disciplines. The results are available for viewing on the official website, gseb.org.

Approximately 15.28 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 and 12 examinations this year. The overall pass percentage in the Science stream stood at 84.33%, while in the General Stream (Arts and Commerce), this figure reached 92.71%. A notable highlight was that girls outperformed boys in the Science stream; the pass percentage for girls was 84.65%, compared to 84.04% for boys.

What Marks Are Required to Pass?

To pass the Gujarat Board examinations, every student is required to secure a minimum of 33% marks. Students scoring less than this threshold will be considered to have failed. Information regarding the subsequent procedures for such students will be provided by their respective schools.

How ​​to Check Your HSC Result

First, students should visit the official website: gseb.org.
Next, click on the ‘HSC Result 2026’ link located on the homepage.
Subsequently, enter your Seat Number.
Upon clicking the ‘Submit’ button, the result will appear on the screen.
Students can then download the result and take a printout for their records.

What to Do If the Website Does Not Open?

It is common for website traffic to surge during the result announcement period. If the site becomes slow or fails to load, there is no need to panic. The Gujarat Board has provided a simple alternative solution for such situations. Students can also obtain their results by sending an SMS with their Seat Number to 6357300971. Subject-wise marks will be received on their mobile phones shortly thereafter.
