Good News for Haryana Youth: HCS Exam 2026 Notification Released; 102 Officers to be Recruited

The Haryana Public Service Commission has released the notification for the HCS Exam 2026, under which 102 posts will be filled. Online applications will be accepted from February 6 to February 26, 2026.

The year 2026 has started with great news for the youth of Haryana preparing for government jobs. The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has released the notification for the Haryana Civil Services (HCS) Exam 2026. Through this recruitment, officers will be appointed to the state's administrative, police, and revenue departments. This is considered a golden opportunity for candidates who have been waiting for this recruitment for a long time.

A total of 102 posts will be filled under this recruitment process. The commission has shared complete information from the application process to the examination, so that candidates can complete the preparation and application process in time.

102 Posts to be Filled

According to the information released by the HPSC, a total of 102 posts have been allocated under the Haryana Civil Services Recruitment 2026. These include important posts in various departments. The highest number of posts is for Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO), numbering 27. This is followed by 24 posts for the Haryana Civil Service (HCS).

In addition, there are 22 posts for Assistant Excise and Taxation Officer (AETO) and 8 posts for Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). 7 posts for Treasury Manager, 5 posts for A Class Naib Tehsildar (Apprentice), and 3 posts for A Class Tehsildar are also included in this recruitment. There are also 3 posts for Assistant Registrar Co-operative Societies (ARCS), 2 posts for Deputy Food and Supplies Controller (DFSC), and 1 post for Deputy Food Safety Officer (DFSO).

Who can apply?

To apply for this recruitment, the candidate must be a graduate of a recognized university. There are no specific subject requirements, meaning young people from any academic stream can participate in this examination.

Regarding the age limit, the minimum age for candidates is 18 years, and the maximum age is 42 years. This age will be calculated as of January 1, 2026.  Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules, providing them with an advantage in the application process.

How and when to apply?

The HPSC has also clarified the application dates. Candidates can apply online from February 6, 2026, to February 26, 2026. Applications will only be accepted through the commission's official website, hpsc.gov.in.

The application fee has also been set for different categories. General, OBC, and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹1000. For Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, female, and disabled candidates, the fee is ₹250. The fee can be paid online.
