The application window for paid internships for science and engineering students in DRDO will close today, July 14.

If you wish to do internship in DRDO, then this news is for you. The Naval Science and Technology Laboratory (NSTL) under the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) will close the ongoing application process for its six-month paid internship program today i.e. July 14. In such a situation, all the interested candidates who have not been able to apply for it should do so as soon as possible by visiting the official website drdo.gov.in. Now the question comes that how much stipend will the candidates selected in this get. So let us know the answer to this question through this news.

Let us inform that these internships will be at Defense Research and Development Laboratory, Hyderabad, which is a major laboratory engaged in research and development of advanced technologies in missile systems for the Indian Armed Forces.

How much stipend will be available?

Selected candidates will get Rs 5,000 as stipend every month.

Eligibility to apply?

You can understand the eligibility to apply for the internship through the points given below.

Candidates must be enrolled in full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programs at AICTE/UGC-recognized institutions. B.E./B.Tech applicants should be in their final year and have a minimum CGPA of 7.5.

M.Sc. applicants (physics or chemistry) should be in their second year and have secured a minimum of 75% marks in the first year.

The maximum age of the candidates applying should be 25 years (as on July 20, 2025).

The internship will start from August 1

Eligible candidates may be shortlisted on the basis of interview/interaction and marks obtained in the qualifying degree (average of entire semesters/years). DRDO will inform the shortlisted candidates about the interview on July 22 and the interviews will be conducted on July 26. The internship programme will begin from August 1.
