Who can apply?

What is the age limit?

The minimum age for this recruitment is set at 18 years, and the maximum age at 40 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will receive age relaxation in accordance with government rules.

Regarding physical standards, the minimum height requirement for male candidates in the General, OBC, and SC categories is 168 cm, while for male candidates in the ST category, it is 160 cm. The minimum height for female candidates is set at 152 cm; however, women belonging to the ST category will be granted a relaxation of 5 cm.

What is the salary?

Selected candidates will be employed under the Level-2 pay scale. The starting salary will be ₹19,900 per month, which can reach up to ₹63,200 per month when all government allowances are included.

How will the selection take place?

Regarding the recruitment process, candidates will first be shortlisted for the main written examination based on their PET-2025 results. Those who qualify in the written examination will have to undergo a Physical Standard Test (PST) and a Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

Subsequently, the candidates' height, chest measurements, and weight will be checked. In the Physical Efficiency Test, male candidates must complete a 25-kilometer run carrying a 10 kg load, while female candidates must complete a 14-kilometer run carrying a 14 kg load within the stipulated time. Candidates who successfully clear all stages will undergo a medical examination, after which the final selection list will be released.
