Goa Board 10th Result 2026: Goa Board Class 10 Results Released; 94.5% of Students Pass—Here's How to Check Your Results..
The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) announced the results for the SSC (Secondary School Certificate)—i.e., the Class 10 examination—on April 26. The results were declared at the Manthan Conference Hall in Porvorim. Earlier this year, approximately 20,659 students appeared for the Class 10 board examination. This cohort included 10,819 boys and 9,840 girls, as well as approximately 600 students with special needs. The examinations were conducted between March 11 and April 3, 2026. Students who appeared for the examination can check their results and download their mark sheets by visiting the official Goa Board website, gbshse.in.
This year, a total of 94.5 percent of students passed the Goa Board Class 10 examination, a figure slightly lower than that of the previous year. Last year, the pass percentage stood at 95.3 percent. Once again, girls have outperformed boys in this examination. This time, the pass percentage for girls is 96.5 percent, while for boys, it is 94.3 percent; in aggregate terms, 9,805 boys and 9,414 girls have successfully cleared the examination. Notably, the performance of students with disabilities (children with special needs) was exceptional. Out of a total of 550 students with disabilities who appeared for the examination, 543 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 98.7 percent.
How to Check Goa Board Class 10 Results?
First, visit the official Goa Board website: gbshse.in.
Next, click on the ‘SSC Public Examination Result 2026’ link located on the homepage.
Subsequently, enter your Seat Number and School Index Number.
Now, accurately fill in your Registration ID and Date of Birth.
Then, verify the Captcha code.
After that, click on the ‘Get Result’ button.
Your Goa Board Class 10 result will now be displayed on your screen. Download your marksheet and take a printout of it for future reference.
How to Check Results via SMS?
Students can also check their results via SMS. To do so, they must first type ‘GOA10 SEAT NUMBER’ in the message box of their mobile phone and send it to 56263/58888/5676750/54242, or type ‘GB10 SEAT NUMBER’ and send it to 54242.
What Should Students Who Failed Do?
If a student is not satisfied with their marks, they may apply for online verification or re-evaluation through the GBSHSE portal in June (tentative), upon payment of the requisite fee. Meanwhile, students who have failed in one or two subjects may apply for supplementary (compartment) examinations, which are typically conducted in June.
