1. Verification of Marks
When you apply for this service, the Board checks only three specific things:

Was there any error in totaling (adding up) the marks?

Was any question in the answer sheet left unchecked?

Were the marks awarded inside the answer sheet correctly transcribed onto the main marksheet?

Note: In this process, your answers are not re-read; only the calculations are verified.

2. Photocopy of the Answer Sheet
The step following verification is to request a photocopy of your answer sheet. This is a crucial step. Once you receive your original answer sheet, you can personally examine exactly where the teacher deducted marks or awarded fewer marks than deserved. Only after reviewing this can you decide whether or not to proceed further.

3. Revaluation
This is the final and most significant step. In this process, you challenge the marking of a specific question (or questions) and request a re-examination. If you believe that you wrote the correct answer but the teacher awarded fewer marks, the answer is re-evaluated here.

In this process, your marks could either increase or decrease. Therefore, you should take this step only if you are certain of your stance.

When to Choose What?
If you suspect that an error occurred during the totaling of marks, you should opt for the Verification process. However, if you feel that your answers deserved better marks, opt for revaluation after reviewing the photocopies.
