How to apply with an unverified DigiLocker account?
According to the new guidelines issued by IIT Madras, if a student's DigiLocker account is not verified, they can complete the registration process by selecting an available default ID proof while filling out the application form.

However, applications submitted via unverified DigiLocker accounts will undergo a special review after the application process concludes. Additional documents may be requested if necessary.
Document verification at exam centers
IIT Madras has clarified that candidates applying with an unverified DigiLocker account must carry all their original documents and a photo ID to the exam center on the day of the examination. Physical verification will be conducted by officials at the center.
No need to upload 10th, 12th, or graduation marksheets
The institute has also stated that candidates are not required to upload their 10th, 12th, or graduation marksheets to DigiLocker. However, candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories must upload their valid category certificates in the prescribed format to the ‘GATE2027’ folder on DigiLocker Drive.
