The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal has launched a major initiative for engineering students. The institute is now offering free coaching to students preparing for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). This coaching program aims to guide students to perform better on the GATE exam. This eight-week training program will begin on November 17, 2025, and continue until January 9, 2026. NIT Warangal Offers Free GATE Coaching Opportunity
NIT Warangal has announced free coaching for students preparing for the GATE exam. This coaching is exclusively for students from engineering colleges in and around Warangal. The course duration will be eight weeks, and classes will be held daily from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The program will begin on November 17, 2025, and continue until January 9, 2026. Interested students can avail themselves of this opportunity by registering through the official website.

The coaching will be conducted by the SC-ST Cell of NIT Warangal to provide equal opportunities to as many students as possible. Third- and fourth-year B.Tech students are eligible to apply for this coaching. Regular class attendance is mandatory. If a student misses four consecutive classes, their admission will be cancelled.

GATE Exam to be Held in February 2026
The GATE exam will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The exam will be held in two sessions: from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The results will be released on March 19, 2026.

The GATE score will be valid for three years, allowing students to seek admission to various postgraduate and doctoral programs. This score is not only valid for admission to institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Education, but many public sector undertakings (PSUs) also use it to recruit candidates.
