GATE 2026 Answer Key OUT: A significant update regarding the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 has emerged. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has released the master question papers and their official answer keys for the examination. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access these documents via the official portal. This announcement has been made just before the release of the GATE 2026 results, enabling candidates to assess their probable scores.
Results to be Released Today
According to the official notice, the GATE 2026 results are scheduled to be released on March 19, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to check their results through the GOAPS Portal. To do so, they will need to use their Enrollment ID or registered email ID and password.
Furthermore, candidates will have the facility to download their GATE 2026 scorecard from the official portal between March 28 and May 31, 2026. Candidates can download it free of cost within this stipulated timeframe; however, a fee of ₹500 per paper will be applicable for downloading the scorecard between June 1 and December 31, 2026.
How to Download the Answer Key?
First, visit the official website of the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati.
On the homepage, click on the “GATE 2026 Answer Key” or “Question Papers” link.
Select your specific examination paper/branch.
The answer key and master question paper will open on the screen.
Download it and cross-check your answers.
How to Download the GATE 2026 Result
First, visit the GOAPS Portal.
Now, log in by entering your Enrollment ID / Email ID and Password.
Next, click on the “GATE 2026 Result” link within the dashboard.
Your scorecard will appear on the screen.
Download it and keep a printout safe for future reference.
