GATE 2026 Admit Card: This is important information for candidates appearing in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has released the GATE 2026 admit card. Candidates who have applied for GATE 2026 can download their admit cards online.  The admit cards were previously scheduled to be released on January 3rd, but have now been released. The admit card can be downloaded from the GATE website gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The GATE 2026 exam is scheduled to be held from February 7th.

How to download the GATE 2026 admit card:
First, go to the official IIT GATE website gate2026.iitg.ac.in.
The homepage will open. Click on the GATE Admit Card 2026 link displayed on the page.
A webpage will open. On this page, candidates will have to enter their login details.
After entering the login details, a submit button will appear. Click on it, and the admit card will be displayed on the screen.
Check the details on the admit card and take a printout.

Four days of exams, two shifts each day
The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted over a total of 4 days, on February 7th, 8th, 14th, and 15th, 2026.  That is, the GATE 2026 exam will be held on Saturdays and Sundays. February 7th and 8th are Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Similarly, February 14th and 15th are also Saturday and Sunday. The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted in two shifts each day. The first shift will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The second shift will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

How many papers can candidates take?
A total of 30 test papers will be conducted in GATE 2026. Candidates can appear in one or two test papers based on their subject combination. On the day of the exam, candidates must carry their admit card along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination center.
