The Delhi government has launched a remarkable scheme for children studying in government schools. Under this scheme, students studying in government schools will receive free coaching to prepare for competitive exams. This scheme is called the 'Common Entrance Test (CET-2025)', and the registration process has already begun. Let us explain how and when you can register for this scheme.

What is this scheme?

This Delhi government scheme provides opportunities for children who wish to prepare for major competitive exams like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, NEET, CLAT, CA Foundation, and CUET (UG). The Directorate of Education stated that a total of 2,200 seats will be available under this scheme. Significantly, some seats in each course are reserved exclusively for girls. Fifty-fifty seats each are reserved for girls in JEE, NEET, CLAT, and CA Foundation, and 150 seats in CUET.

How will the Delhi government help?

Children will be provided with full support in this coaching program. Course fees, study materials, practice test papers, and other essential items will be provided free of charge. Coaching will also be provided by reputable institutions in Delhi, ensuring proper preparation.

Who can apply?

Students in grades 11 and 12 can register for this program. If you are in grade 11, you can apply for coaching for JEE, NEET, CLAT, or CA Foundation. Students in grade 12 from all streams can register for coaching for CUET. It's worth noting that you can only choose one course. There will be no opportunity to change courses after registration.

How will the selection be done?

To enroll in coaching under this scheme, you must first take an entrance exam, which will be held between October 12th and 26th in Delhi government schools. Those who pass this exam will be called for counseling. During counseling, you will be able to choose your preferred coaching. Before this exam, you will receive an admit card, which will be issued two days before the exam. Information about the exam center and roll number will also be provided five days before the exam.

How to register?

The registration process is completely online. You must visit the Delhi Government's Directorate of Education website and fill out the registration form. It is very important to provide correct information on the form, as incorrect information may result in cancellation of your registration. You can register until September 30th.
