FIITJEE, the country's leading IIT-JEE coaching institute, has announced a proportional fee refund to parents of students affected by the closure of offline classes at some centers in 2025. According to the institute, the refund process will begin in the last week of June 2026. The entire process will be handled by the corporate office in Delhi, while local centers will not be involved.

In a message sent to parents by the institute's senior leadership, it stated that due to external factors and misleading news, adverse circumstances arose, forcing the temporary suspension of offline classes at some centers. Rumors regarding the sale of centers further complicated the situation.

However, to ensure that studies were not disrupted amid these circumstances, the institute immediately adopted the online medium. Through FIITJEE eSchool, students were prepared for JEE Main, JEE Advanced, board exams, Olympiads, NTSE, and other competitive exams. The institute claims that a large number of students participated in online classes and their studies continued uninterrupted.

According to the institute, all parents will be notified of the exact amount of their refund by June 15, 2026. A dedicated email address will also be launched starting June 16, 2026, through which parents can receive information or clarifications regarding refunds.

As part of its future strategy, the institute will employ a new collaborative model. This model will involve operating centers, world schools, and global schools in collaboration with entrepreneurs. According to the institute, the traditional franchise fee will be replaced by a fixed establishment fee and an annual license fee to further strengthen educational quality and management.

The institute has clarified that its goal under the "2.0" phase is to provide a better and more stable educational environment than before, so that the potential of each student can be effectively developed.
