Exam Postponed – Odisha Police Sub Inspector Exam Postponed, Know About New Dates

Important information for the youth of Odisha who had applied for police recruitment, the Odisha Police Recruitment Board (OPRB) has announced the postponement of the much-awaited Combined Police Service Exam 2024, which was scheduled on 8th and 9th March 2025. "You are informed that the Combined Police Service Examination 2024, which was initially scheduled for 8th and 9th March 2025, has been postponed for the time being. The new date of the exam will be announced soon on the official website of Odisha Police Recruitment Board Odishapolice.Gov.In.

Selection Process:

A multi-stage selection process will be followed for recruitment, which includes:

Written Test (OMR-based)

Physical Standard Test (PST)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Document Verification

The written test will consist of three papers:

Paper-I: General English and Odia Language (100 questions, 90 minutes)

Paper-II: General Studies (200 marks, 180 minutes)

Paper-III (only for Station Officer-Fire Service): Technical Paper (200 marks, 180 minutes)

For every correct answer, candidates will get 1 mark, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer (negative marking). Unattempted questions will not have any impact on the score.
