IIM Kozhikode Admission: Is your dream to pursue an MBA from the beautiful campus in 'God's Own Country' (Kerala)? If so, this could be the biggest news of the year for you. After the CAT 2025 exam, the real competition for IIM admissions is about to begin. IIM Kozhikode has released the Personal Interview (PI) shortlist for the 2026-28 session. If you selected IIM Kozhikode in your CAT exam application's preference list, then this news is for you.

IIM Kozhikode is renowned for its emphasis on 'Diversity' and 'Leadership'. This time, the institute has made it clear that it is not just looking for 'number crunchers', but 'all-rounder' leaders. This is why sometimes candidates with 99th percentile scores are left out, while those with lower scores but strong profiles are cut. If you have received a PI call, consider that you have won half the battle, but the final goal (admission) is yet to be achieved. Learn about the mistakes to avoid while filling out the 'SOP' for the interview.

IIM Kozhikode PI Shortlist 2026
The IIM Kozhikode selection process does not depend solely on the CAT score. The institute uses an Aggregate Index Score (AIS), which gives weightage to the following factors:

CAT 2025 Score: 50% weightage
10th and 12th Standard Marks: 15% and 20% weightage
Diversity (Gender/Academic Diversity): 10% and 5% weightage
Work Experience: 5% weightage

This year, the minimum qualifying cutoff for the general category has been set at the 85th percentile, while the final selection figure is likely to go up to the 98th-99 percentile. Steps to Check Shortlist Status and Apply
