Haryana Board HBSE 10th Result 2026, HBSE 10th Result 2026 OUT: The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) has released the results for the Class 10 examinations held in 2026. This year's results have been remarkable in several respects. While the state recorded an overall pass percentage of 89.60%, girls once again delivered a stellar performance, outshining the boys. It was not just the girls; students from rural areas also grabbed everyone's attention by performing better than their urban counterparts.

Furthermore, the results of students from private schools were significantly better compared to those from government schools. This year, a total of 247,860 students from across the state appeared for the Haryana Board Class 10 examinations. Following the announcement of the results, an atmosphere of joy and celebration was witnessed among students and parents alike.

Only 895 Girls for Every 1,000 Boys
Although the demographic reality in Haryana shows a ratio of only 895 girls for every 1,000 boys, girls have taken the lead in the Haryana Board Class 12 results. Haryana recently released data indicating that the Sex Ratio at Birth (SRB) dropped to 895 during the first four months of 2026—specifically from January to April. This means that for every 1,000 boys born, only 895 girls are born. This figure represents a significant decline from the 925 recorded last year.

HBSE 10th Result 2026: Girls Prove Their Mettle Once Again
In the Haryana Board Class 10 results for 2026, the performance of female students has been the most talked-about highlight. According to the Board's statistics, 91.64% of the girls who appeared for the examination passed this time around, whereas the pass percentage for boys stood at 87.69%. In other words, by securing a lead of over 4 percent, girls have proven that they are consistently excelling in their academic performance. For the past few years, female students have been consistently delivering stellar results in the Haryana Board examinations, and this time, too, they have carved a distinct niche for themselves through their hard work and dedication.

**Rural Students Outperform Their Urban Counterparts**

Another interesting trend emerged in this year's results. It is generally assumed that urban areas offer greater educational resources; however, in the Haryana Board Class 10 results, students from rural areas have outperformed their urban counterparts. According to the Board, 90.25 percent of students from rural regions passed the examination, whereas the pass percentage for urban regions stood at 87.94 percent. This clearly demonstrates that children from villages are now rapidly advancing in the field of education and are delivering superior results.

**Private Schools Outshine Government Schools**

Students from private schools also delivered an impressive performance in these Haryana Board results. According to the statistics, the pass percentage for private schools was 92.45 percent, while 87.23 percent of students from government schools successfully cleared the examination. Although the performance of students from government schools was also quite commendable, private schools managed to secure a lead this time around. Education experts believe that factors such as regular monitoring, extra classes, and better exam preparation could be major reasons behind this success.

**Charkhi Dadri Emerges as the Top-Performing District; Nuh Lags Behind**

In terms of district-wise performance, Charkhi Dadri emerged as the top-ranking district across all of Haryana this year. Students from this district delivered the most outstanding results. Conversely, the Nuh district lagged behind the rest, recording a pass percentage lower than that of the other districts. Following the release of the Board results, the Education Department will now focus its attention on those districts where performance has been relatively weaker, with the aim of improving student outcomes in the coming years.

**Over 247,000 Students Appeared for the Examination**

A total of 247,860 students appeared for the Haryana Board Class 10 examination in 2026. Students had been eagerly awaiting their results ever since the examinations concluded—a wait that has now finally come to an end.
