Errors in Bihar Board exam admit cards? Don't worry, here's how to fix them; learn about BSEB's new rules..
Several important changes have been made this year regarding the Bihar Board's Matriculation and Intermediate examinations. To minimize the difficulties faced by students during the exams, the board has decided to implement a new system. Significantly, errors related to photographs on the admit cards of 10th and 12th-grade students will now be corrected at the examination center itself, saving students from the hassle of having to go elsewhere for corrections.
The Bihar School Examination Board has stated that this year, the examination will be monitored online through a mobile app. Information regarding corrections made to the admit cards will also be uploaded through this app. To ensure the smooth implementation of this new system, center superintendents and computer teachers deployed at the examination centers have been given special training. This training was provided by the Bihar Board officials to prevent any difficulties during the examination.

The Intermediate examinations are scheduled to begin on February 2nd, and the Matriculation examinations on February 17th. The board is fully prepared for this. A workshop was organized at the Bihar Board's regional office in Motijheel, where center superintendents from different districts of the Tirhut division received training in two shifts. They were instructed on how to use the new technology during the examination and on which rules must be followed.
Question papers to be opened directly in the examination room
To maintain transparency during the examination, the process of opening the question papers has also been changed. Now, the packet of question papers will not be opened in the center superintendent's room. It will be opened directly in the examination hall. A distribution table will be prepared beforehand, clearly stating how many question papers will be opened in each room. Only the packet will be taken out in the center superintendent's room, and that too in the presence of two senior invigilators.
Major changes in the packing system
The packing system for OMR sheets has also been changed. Now, after the examination ends each day, 256 OMR sheets will be packed in an envelope instead of 200. If more than one subject is being tested in a single session, the OMR sheets for all subjects will be placed in the same envelope. The biggest relief is for students whose admit cards have an incorrect photo. Such students will be able to get their photos corrected at the examination center on the first day of the exam. For this, they will need to bring the necessary identity documents. The entire correction process will be recorded on the examination mobile app.
