According to the notice issued by the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE), there will be a seven-day holiday in junior colleges.

The official notice reads, 'Further, all District Intermediate Education Officers are requested to give wide publicity in their jurisdiction and see that all Junior College Managements should follow the same program.'

Schools have been instructed to complete summative evaluations by October 11. Along with schools, the state government has declared a holiday in banks and other organizations for Durgashtami and Mahanavami, celebrated on October 22 and 23 respectively. Let us tell you that this year Dussehra will be celebrated on 24th October. According to the Hindu calendar, this year Dashami Tithi will start at 5.44 pm on October 23 and end on October 24.
