How many students were allotted seats in the second round?
According to Delhi University, a total of 88,584 candidates participated in the second phase of UG admissions. In this round, 24,814 candidates were allotted new seats. Meanwhile, 30,682 students received an upgrade to a better college or course based on their preferences. Additionally, since 15,265 students had frozen their seats in the first round, their initial allotments remained unchanged.
What should you do today after getting a seat?
1. If your name appears in the second round list, the first step is to log in to your account on the Delhi University CSAS admission portal.
2. You will see details of the college and course allotted to you there.
3. Next, accept your seat within the stipulated timeframe.
4. After you accept the seat, the respective college will verify your application and all necessary documents.
5. Once verification is complete, you must pay the online admission fee before July 28, 2026.

Mid-entry window to open in August
Delhi University has announced that a mid-entry window will open in August to fill any remaining seats during the undergraduate admission process. Through this facility, eligible students who had not registered earlier but wish to secure admission to the vacant seats will also be able to participate in subsequent admission rounds.
