Delhi University Spot Round 2025: The opportunity to get admission in the undergraduate program in the academic session 2025-26 of Delhi University remains in some colleges. However, this opportunity is only for a limited seats. On Monday, DU released the information about the vacant seats in the colleges for admission in the spot round.

Apply by August 27

Compared to other courses in colleges, seats in Science, Punjabi, Sanskrit, and in some places B.Com are vacant. These include. There are seats from the general to the reserved category. Along with this, the process of applying for the spot round has also started. Applications can be made for admission to these vacant seats till August 27.

Seats will be allotted on August 28
This is the last opportunity for the students to get admission in the undergraduate program of DU. The administration hopes that the vacant position will be filled by this round. Seats will be allotted in this round on August 28. The allotted seat of the students has to be accepted by August 29. After accepting the seat, they will have to pay the fee by August 30. In this round, students will not get the opportunity to upgrade their seats or withdraw from admission. Only those students will be eligible to get admission in this round who have not received admission anywhere till August 24.

Admission will be given based on seat availability.

To participate in the spot round, students will have to choose the option of Spot Round-1 through their dashboard. Students wishing to take admission will be able to select only those program-college combinations where seats will be vacant according to the category. In this way, admission will be given only based on seat availability.

The seat allotted in this spot admission round will be final and will not be upgraded in any subsequent round of spot admission. The special thing is that there are fewer seats vacant in reputed colleges and more seats in out-of-campus colleges. Students have started preparing for this. At the same time, the administration has also started preparing for this.

How many seats are vacant in which college
Atmaram College has 2 seats vacant in B.Com for the general category, 1 in B.Com Honors, 2 in English Honors, 4 in Physics Honors, and 4 in Chemistry Honors. Bharti College has 11 seats vacant in B.Sc. Mathematics Honors, 10 in B.Com Honors. Deshbandhu College has 17 seats vacant in Physical Science with Chemistry, and 15 seats vacant in the B.Sc Program Applied Physical Science with Industrial Chemistry.

Dayaal Singh College has 14 seats vacant in the B.Sc Program Physical Science with Chemistry, 78 in Punjabi, 17 in Sanskrit, and 3 in B.Sc Life Science. Hansraj College has 4 seats vacant in B.Sc Honors Anthropology, 3 in B.Sc Electronics, 5 in Physics Honors.

Kalindi College has 25 seats vacant in Sanskrit, 8 in Physics, 6 in Life Science, and 7 in BSc Chemistry Honours. Hindu College has 4 seats vacant in BSc Honours Physics, 3 in BSc Botany, 2 in Zoology.

Janki Devi College has 11 seats vacant in BSc Mathematics Honours, 12 in BA Honours Sanskrit. While Laxmibai College has 11 seats vacant in Sanskrit Honours. Similarly, in other colleges, one to 15 seats are vacant in different categories.
