Delhi University Mop Up Round 2025: About seven thousand seats of undergraduate programs are vacant in the academic session 2025-26 of Delhi University (DU). Under the mop round started to fill these seats, 21 thousand students have applied for admission. Based on the applications of the students, colleges have started offering seats from Monday. Colleges will offer till September 11. This is the last chance for students to get admission in regular colleges.

Last week, DU announced a mop-up round for the remaining seats. CUET score is not mandatory for admission in this. Students will be admitted on the basis of their 12th-grade marks. Colleges are offering seat allocation on the basis of 12th marks only. Earlier, on September 4, DU had released information about the vacant seats. In this, seats are vacant in other courses, including science courses.

In these, more options are available for reserved category students than for the general category. DU Admission Dean Prof. Haneet Gandhi said that students had to apply for admission to vacant seats from 4th to 7th September. There are about 7 thousand seats vacant in various courses. We have received about 21 thousand applications for that.

Students will have to pay the fees by the 13th

Colleges have been given the responsibility of filling the seats in this round. Students have to accept the seat offered by the college and pay the fees by 13th September. Prof. Gandhi said that this is the last chance for students to take admission. After this, the admission process of the undergraduate program, which started in June, will end.

It has been more than a month since the session started for the undergraduate program at DU. The session started on August 1, and classes also started with it. DU has already clarified that a student can be allotted multiple seats; he can accept more than one allotment, but colleges will accept only one seat allotment. If a student gets acceptance for multiple seats from the college at a time then he/she has to select one and make payment accordingly.
