DU Admission 2025-26: The process of admission to undergraduate courses at Delhi University (DU) has started. If you have given CUET-UG 2025, then now the next important step is to fill out the form through the CSAS portal. But even a slight mistake can snatch your seat. DU's admission process has become more technical and phased this time, in which 10th marks will also be used as a tie-breaker. In such a situation, if you are dreaming of getting admission to DU, then definitely read this guide...

The admission process will be completed in three phases.

First phase: Registration and document submission

In this phase, students will have to go to the CSAS portal and register. After this, personal information, 10th-12th marks, and necessary documents (such as mark sheet, photo, signature, etc.) will have to be uploaded. DU registration fee will also have to be paid in this phase. Rs 250 for the General/OBC/EWS category and Rs 100 for the SC/ST/PwBD category.

Second Phase: Filling of Course and College Choice
This phase will start as soon as the CUET-UG 2025 result is released. Students will choose the course and college of their choice and fill it on the CSAS portal. Keep in mind that the choice filling should be done with the right strategy, as this is where the seat allotment will be decided.

Third Phase: Seat Allotment and Admission Confirmation
In the third and final phase, allotment will be done based on the CUET score released by NTA, the category of students (such as General, SC, OBC, etc.), and seats available in the college. Selected students will have to accept their allotted seats and confirm admission by paying the required fee.

This is how you will have to fill out the form
Registration process

For admission to undergraduate courses at Delhi University, first of all, students have to register on the CSAS portal. For this, go to https://ugadmission.uod.ac.in website and select the 'New Registration' option. Log in by entering the CUET application number and password. After completing OTP verification, your profile will be created and the next step will begin.

Fill in personal and academic information.
After registration, students have to fill in their details like name, parents' name, date of birth, etc. Along with this, enter the 10th and 12th board marks very carefully, as 10th marks can also be used as a tie-breaker. The CUET score gets automatically loaded on the portal, but verify it once to see if all the data is correct or not.

Upload necessary documents
In the third step, students have to upload their passport-size photo and signature. Apart from this, 10th and 12th mark sheets are also required. If you fall under any reservation category (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, or PwBD), then it is mandatory to upload the certificate related to it. All documents should be in clear and valid format (PDF/JPEG).

Pay application fee
The next step after document upload is to pay the application fee. The fee for General, OBC, and EWS category students is Rs 250, while for SC, ST, and PwBD students it is Rs 100. If a student applies for sports or co-curricular quota, he has to pay an additional Rs 400. Payment can be made through online modes such as UPI, net banking, or debit/credit card.
