DU Admission 2024: Spot Round-1 seat allocation result released, opportunity to accept seat till September 22
Delhi University has released the seat allocation result of Spot Round-1 for UG programs. Which students can check by visiting the official site.
DU Admission 2024: Delhi University (DU) has released the seat allocation result of Spot Round-1 for UG courses on 21 September 2024. Candidates who have participated in this admission process can check their allocation results by visiting the official website admission.uod.ac.in. Candidates have to download the seat allocation letter with the help of the registration number and password. Also, the cut-off list of Spot Round 1 has been released by the university.
Last date for seat acceptance is 22 September
The last date for accepting the seat for the candidates who get the seat in the spot round is 22 September 2024. After this, the verification and acceptance process of applications by the colleges will be completed between 21 and 23 September. After accepting the allotted seat, candidates have to pay the online acceptance fee by 4:59 pm on 24 September 2024.
Seat acceptance mandatory, with no option for upgradation and withdrawal
Delhi University has clarified that it is mandatory to accept the seat allotted in the spot round. No option for seat upgrade or withdrawal will be given in this round. If a candidate does not accept the allotted seat, his/her eligibility for admission will expire and he/she will be excluded from the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) UG 2024 process.
72,263 admissions so far
As of 15 September 2024, 72,263 seats have been filled in Delhi University. Candidates who had applied for CSAS UG 2024 but were not able to secure a seat yet have been given a chance to get admission through the spot round. This process is a last chance for those students who missed admission in the first round.
How to participate in the spot round?
Candidates eligible for spot admission need to select the 'Spot Admission' option on their dashboard. They can then choose the program and college combination based on their category and seat availability. Through this process, candidates will be allotted seats as per their merit and availability.
