The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), which operates under the Ministry of Defence, is inviting applications for a six-month paid internship at its Solid State Physics Laboratory (SSPL) in Delhi. This program will allow students to work directly with DRDO scientists.

Who can apply?
This paid internship is specifically designed for students with a science and engineering background. Students currently pursuing BE/B.Tech, MSc, or M.Tech degrees are eligible to apply.

Students from disciplines such as Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Quantum Technology, Laser Optics, Semiconductor Devices, IT, and Computer Science (CSE) are also eligible.

Stipend and Internship Duration
A total of 52 interns will be selected for this internship program. The minimum duration of the internship is 4 weeks, and the maximum duration is 6 months. Students who complete the entire internship period will receive a total stipend of Rs. 30,000.

This means that students will receive approximately Rs. 5,000 in financial assistance per month. They will also gain valuable practical research experience.
