The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has announced paid apprenticeship and internship programs at two key institutes for the 2026-27 financial year. These opportunities are available at the Delhi-based Defence Scientific Information and Documentation Centre (DESIDOC) and the Pune-based Armament Research and Development Establishment (ARDE).

Who can apply?
Only candidates who completed their respective degrees/diplomas in 2024 or 2025 are eligible to apply. Postgraduate candidates are not eligible. Candidates with more than one year of work experience are also ineligible.
Educational Qualification
Library and Information Science
A bachelor's degree along with a degree in Library and Information Science is mandatory.
Computer Science
BE (Computer Science) or a 3-year diploma.
Photography/Videography
3-year diploma or ITI certificate.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit is set at 28 years. A relaxation of 5 years is applicable for the SC/ST category, and a relaxation of 3 years is applicable for the OBC category.

Stipend Details
