There is considerable enthusiasm among candidates regarding the BPSC 71st Main Examination application, but also significant confusion regarding the required documents. In this context, Mumtaz Alam, the owner of a cyber cafe in Simra, Sitamarhi, has provided clear and concise information to candidates regarding the application process and necessary documents. According to him, as per the category-wise list released by the commission, a total of 1258 posts will be filled through the main examination, of which 429 posts are reserved for women.

Posts Reserved for Women
Out of 502 posts for Cooperative Extension Officer, 171 are reserved for women. Similarly, out of 459 posts for Block Minority Welfare Officer, 155 posts are reserved for women. Likewise, separate posts are reserved for unreserved, Backward Class, Extremely Backward Class, and Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe categories in various departments.

Application Deadline: December 24th
Mumtaz Alam states that the online application process will run from December 3rd to December 24th. No additional fee will be charged for the main examination, but candidates are required to fill in their post preferences. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of the application. Choosing an optional subject is also mandatory. Candidates must select one subject from a list of more than 35 optional subjects. Obtaining minimum marks in this subject is mandatory, even if the marks are not included in the merit calculation.

These Documents are Extremely Important
Regarding documents, Mumtaz Alam explained that several important documents must be kept ready at the time of application. These documents are extremely important:
1. Aadhaar Card
2. Matriculation and Intermediate Marksheets and Certificates
3. Graduation Marksheet and Degree
4. Photograph and Signature (scanned)
5. Caste Certificate (mandatory for reserved categories)
6. Domicile Certificate
7. Creamy Layer Certificate (for OBC/BC, if applicable)
8. Caste and Domicile Certificates issued in the father's name for married women
9. Preliminary Examination Admit Card/Roll Number details

Candidates should ensure that all their certificates are scanned clearly and legibly. This is to ensure that there are no errors in the application. They emphasized that applicants should fill out the service and post choices with special care, as these will play a crucial role in the further recruitment process. They appealed to the candidates to apply promptly and keep their documents organized to avoid any problems at the last minute.
