Digital Skills Training: One Lakh Youth in UP to Receive Digital Skills Training, Bumper Employment Opportunities Await..

A new initiative for digital skills training has been launched in Uttar Pradesh to prepare the youth for employment. The state government is working towards providing better employment opportunities to the youth by connecting them with modern technology. In line with this effort, the Department of Labour and Employment has signed an agreement with a private company, under which approximately one lakh youths will receive digital skills training.

Through this training, young people will be imparted knowledge regarding new technologies as well as practical skills, enabling them to leverage the growing opportunities within the digital economy to secure employment.

Agreement Signed at the 'Industry Connect' Program
This agreement was signed during the 'Uttar Pradesh Industry Connect' program held in Mumbai. This initiative aims to provide training to the youth in modern sectors linked to the digital economy. Through this training, young people will gain insights into new technologies, enabling them to understand the evolving requirements of the job market and develop their skills accordingly.

Training to be Provided in These Sectors
Under this program, young people will receive training in several modern and rapidly growing digital sectors. These include critical fields such as Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Automation. Developing skills in these areas is expected to significantly enhance job opportunities for the youth within both the private and technical sectors.

Emphasis on Government-Industry Partnership
During the event, Anil Rajbhar, the Coordinating Minister for Labour and Employment, stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state government is working in collaboration with industries to provide better employment opportunities to the youth.

Meanwhile, Dr. M.K. Shanmuga Sundaram, Principal Secretary of the Department of Labour and Employment, remarked that such initiatives would ensure that the youth receive training tailored to the specific requirements of various industries. This will open up new avenues of employment for the state's youth, enabling them to secure a strong and active role in the future digital economy.
