The lawyer urged the court to direct the Consortium to include a screen reader option in the CLAT application form. This would allow candidates to declare their requirements in advance, ensuring they do not face any difficulties during the examination.

The matter is being heard by a bench comprising CJI Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi, and Justice V. Mohana. The petition was filed by Yash Dodani, seeking to make CLAT more accessible for differently-abled candidates.
