Meanwhile, it has now been reported that the government is considering a proposal to increase the age limit. The age limit for candidates applying without reservation is currently 32 years, and plans are underway to increase it to 35 years.
Issue raised in Jharkhand Assembly
There are demands for an increase in the age limit for the Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Examination (JPSC) 2025. This issue has now resonated in the Jharkhand Assembly. Several MLAs have demanded a change in the age limit. The government has also assured that the matter will be seriously considered. Applications have been invited for 103 JPSC positions, with the cutoff date set as August 1, 2026. Candidates are demanding that the cutoff date be changed to August 1, 2018.
