Semester examinations for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs at Delhi University (DU) will commence on December 4. More than 600,000 students are expected to appear for these examinations. DU has released a tentative date sheet; however, it may be revised in the final version based on student requests, should any examination dates clash. The process for submitting examination forms has already begun.

What is the deadline for submitting examination forms?
DU has intensified preparations for the semester examinations scheduled for December.

Students enrolled in UG and PG programs at regular colleges are required to submit their examination forms online by November 15.
An option to submit forms with a late fee will be available until November 22.
Students in their first semester—admitted during the July intake—will appear for examinations for the first time. They will be joined by students from the third, fifth, and seventh semesters.

Additionally, examinations for improvement, 'Essential Repeaters' (ER), and former students will also be conducted. Beyond regular colleges, examinations for students from the Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB) and the School of Open Learning (SOL) will also begin in December.

Examinations for SOL's UG and PG courses are expected to continue until February. According to a DU official, a tentative date sheet has been released for UG-level students; adjustments may be made if students report any clashes between their examination dates.

DU faculty members to visit Tamil Nadu
Five faculty members from Delhi University will travel to Tamil Nadu as part of the 'Yuva Sangam' (Phase 7) initiative, which falls under the Ministry of Education’s 'Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat' program. The initiative aims to foster mutual understanding among people from different states, allowing participants to explore diverse systems, traditions, lifestyles, and social structures. They will also gain insights into local culture, educational institutions, and various aspects of regional development.

Prof. M. Thirumal, Dr. Narendra Kumar Bishnoi, Dr. Vinay Gupta, Dr. Ekta Raman, and Dr. Chetna Gupta have been nominated for this program. These teachers will accompany the Delhi delegation from Saturday until November 2nd. Upon their return from the trip, the teachers will submit a report to the Vice-Chancellor and also file a participation report with the department.
