Delhi School: The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has decided to increase the safety and cleanliness of the corporation's schools. This decision was taken in the recent meeting of the Education Committee of the Corporation. The committee meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Education Committee, Yogesh Verma, while Additional Commissioner Pankaj Agarwal, Vice-Chairman Amit Khadkhari, Member Sanjay Singh, Deputy Director, Additional Director, and other senior officials were also present.

It was clearly stated in the meeting that the repair and maintenance work in every school of the corporation should be completed immediately. The chairman directed the officials to submit the report on repair, toilet arrangements, and other necessary facilities of all the schools soon. Providing clean drinking water to the children and ensuring regular cleaning of classrooms have been included in the priorities of the committee.

Parent-Teacher Meeting on the first Saturday of September

It was also decided in the meeting that Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) will be organized in all schools on the first Saturday of September. Before this, a special cleaning campaign will be run in the school premises so that parents and guardians can see a safe and clean environment for the children. Three to four employees will be appointed in each school to ensure regular cleaning and security in schools.

Uniform money will be transferred to the children's accounts.

The money for children's uniforms will be transferred directly to their bank accounts soon so that they can get uniforms on time. The distribution of books has almost been completed, and the officials have assured that they will complete whatever deficiencies are left soon. Education Committee Chairman Yogesh Verma appealed to the officials and teachers to complete all the work on a priority basis as soon as possible. He said that the corporation's primary schools are the foundation of children's education and it is the collective responsibility of all of us to strengthen them.
