Eligibility for Delhi Police Constable
Candidates who have passed the 12th standard from a recognized board are eligible to apply for these 7,565 Delhi Police constable vacancies. However, male candidates must also have a valid driving license. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and at most 25 years of age as of July 1, 2025. If you want to know it based on your date of birth, candidates born between July 2, 2000, and July 1, 2007, will be considered eligible. However, reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per the rules.

SC/ST - 5 years (up to 30 years)
OBC - 3 years (up to 28 years)
Sportsperson - 5/10 years

What is the height requirement for a Delhi Police Constable?
Physical standards have also been set for both men and women to apply for the post of Constable Executive in the Delhi Police. Male candidates must have a height of 170 cm and a chest of 81-85 cm (with 4 cm expansion). ST candidates from hill areas and sons of serving/retired/deceased employees of the Delhi Police will receive a 5 cm relaxation in height and chest. Female candidates must have a height of 157 cm. Daughters of SC, ST, serving/retired/deceased Delhi Police employees will receive a 2 cm relaxation.
