The Physical Efficiency and Measurement Test (PE & MT) originally scheduled for August 22, 24, and 25, 2026, has been postponed by the department. This decision was taken due to disruptions caused by the ongoing rainfall in Delhi. The rest of the schedule remains unchanged.
**New Dates for Postponed Physical Tests**
According to the notification issued by the Delhi Police, candidates whose physical tests were scheduled for August 22 must now report to the designated centers mentioned in their admit cards on September 10, 2026. The existing admit card remains valid for the test. However, dates for the PE-MT originally scheduled for August 24 and 25 have not yet been announced; new dates will be declared soon.
**Carry All Necessary Documents**
Candidates are advised to bring their admit cards and all required documents to the center on the day of the physical test to facilitate the verification process.
**Eligibility for the Physical Test**
For the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), male candidates must have a minimum height of 170 cm. A relaxation of 5 cm is granted to candidates from hilly areas, ST candidates, and sons of serving, deceased, or retired Delhi Police personnel. The chest measurement must be a minimum of 81 cm (unexpanded) and at least 85 cm upon expansion. Additionally, female candidates must have a minimum height of 157 cm, with a 5 cm relaxation provided for ST candidates and those from hilly areas. Additionally, based on their age, male and female candidates will be required to participate in running, long jump, and high jump events, the details of which are as follows:
