Delhi Nursery Admission 2025-26: The admission process has started today in private non-aided recognized schools of Delhi. Parents can apply for admission from 28 November to 20 December 2024.

The admission process for admission in Nursery, KG and Class 1 in the schools of the capital has been started by the Directorate of Education, Delhi. Parents can register for the admission of their children from today, 28 November. A fee of Rs 25 will have to be deposited for the application, which will not be refunded later. Parents of children below 6 years of age can apply for admission in private non-aided recognized schools of Delhi for the academic session 2025-26.

According to the admission calendar released by the Directorate, open-seat admission is included for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), Disadvantaged Groups (DG) and Children with Special Needs (CWSN) as well as other categories. Apart from this, 25 percent seats have been set aside for EWS, DG and CWSN children under the provisions of the Right to Education Act.

Delhi Nursery Admission 2025 Schedule: What is the admission schedule?

Parents can apply in schools for admission from today, 28 November to 20 December 2024. On 3 January 2025, information about the children applying to the school for admission through open seats will be uploaded on the website of the schools. At the same time, on January 10, 2025, the respective schools will upload the marks (as per the point system) given to each child requesting admission under open seats on their website.

Delhi Nursery Admission 2025: When will the list be released?

The first list of selected candidates including the waiting list will be released on 17 January 2025 using the school point based method. At the same time, the second list of selected children will be released on 3 February 2025. The admission process will end on 14 March 2025.
