Delhi University: Following the bomb blast, Delhi University has also swung into action. Following this incident, DU has decided to enhance security in colleges, departments, and hostel premises. Identity cards will be checked upon entry, which will be verified by security personnel. Security will be increased within and around the college premises.

The DU Proctorial Board held an online meeting on Wednesday to review and strengthen security protocols in Delhi University's colleges, departments, and hostel premises. The meeting was attended by principals, heads of departments, and provosts of hostels and halls from all colleges across the North and South campuses.

During the meeting, security protocols in the university's colleges, departments, and hostel premises were reviewed, and strengthening was considered. DU Proctor Prof. Manoj Kumar stated, "Several key measures were discussed during the meeting and recommendations were made for immediate implementation."

The meeting decided to enhance security within and around college campuses to ensure a safe and secure environment. Security personnel at the entry gates will maintain detailed records of all private vehicles entering the campus. Entry of outsiders will be strictly prohibited.

He stated that, as directed by DU Vice Chancellor Prof. Yogesh Singh, DU is committed to providing a safe and conducive environment for its students, faculty, and staff. It was also decided that the installation and regular maintenance of CCTV cameras in the college areas of the North and South Campuses will be prioritized. Entry of outsiders into the hostel areas will be prohibited.

DU's Chief Security Officer, Security Officer (North Campus), and Assistant Security Officer (South Campus) have been directed to maintain strict vigilance and ensure 24x7 patrolling in the North and South Campuses.
