Date Clashes with NEET UG: Bihar Constable Operator Recruitment Exam Postponed; Exam Now to be Held on June 28..
CSBC Bihar Police Vacancy 2026: A major update has emerged for thousands of candidates preparing for the Constable (Operator) recruitment examination within the Bihar Police. The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) has rescheduled the examination date. Previously, this examination was scheduled to be held on June 21, 2026; however, the rescheduled NEET UG 2026 examination is also being conducted on the very same day. Consequently, the clash in dates between the two examinations could have caused inconvenience to the candidates. For this reason, the recruitment board has decided to postpone the examination. Now, the written examination for the recruitment of 993 Constable (Operator) posts within the Bihar Police Telecommunication and Technical Department will be held on June 28, 2026. The Board has stated that this decision was taken keeping the best interests and convenience of the candidates in mind.
Recruitment Underway for 993 Posts
This recruitment drive has been initiated for a total of 993 posts of Constable Operator within the Bihar Police Telecommunication and Technical Department. A large number of candidates have applied for this recruitment, and all of them must now prepare according to the new examination date. As part of the recruitment process, a written examination will be conducted first. Subsequently, the selected candidates will proceed to the subsequent stages of the recruitment process.
Examination Now on June 28
According to the new notification issued by the CSBC, the examination will now be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026. The examination will be conducted in a single shift. The scheduled time for the examination is from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM; however, candidates are required to reach the examination center ahead of time. The Board has explicitly stated that all candidates must enter the examination center between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Entry will be closed thereafter.
No Entry Without E-Admit Card
The recruitment board has clarified that entry into the examination center will be granted solely upon presentation of the e-Admit Card. No candidate will be permitted to appear for the examination without an admit card. Candidates will be able to access information regarding their examination by visiting the official CSBC website starting June 15, 2026. To do so, they will be required to enter their registration number, registered mobile number, and date of birth. Subsequently, candidates will be able to obtain details regarding the district of their examination center and their examination date.
**Admit Cards Available for Download from June 22**
According to the CSBC, candidates will be able to download their e-Admit Cards starting from 12:00 AM on June 22, 2026. The deadline for downloading admit cards has been set for 11:00 AM on June 28, 2026. Candidates are advised not to wait until the last moment and to download their admit cards well in advance.
**What to Do If the Admit Card Cannot Be Downloaded?**
Often, candidates are unable to download their admit cards due to technical glitches. The Board has made provisions to address the needs of such candidates as well. If a candidate is unable to download their admit card online, they may visit the CSBC Patna office between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on June 26, 2026, to obtain a duplicate admit card. For this purpose, the candidate must appear in person. Additionally, it is mandatory to carry the application receipt and a photo identity card.
**Decision Taken Due to NEET UG**
Notably, the rescheduled NEET UG 2026 examination is already scheduled to be held on June 21. Consequently, a significant number of candidates had applied for both examinations. The clash in examination dates had caused considerable anxiety among the candidates. In light of this situation, the CSBC decided to postpone the examination and announce a new date. As a result, candidates will now be able to appear for both examinations without any undue stress.
