CUET UG Registration Deadline Extended: Find Out When You Can Apply Now

There's good news for students applying for CUET UG 2026. The NTA has extended the registration deadline. Candidates can now apply online until February 4, 2026.

An important update has emerged for students preparing for CUET UG 2026. Students whose applications were incomplete for any reason have been given another opportunity. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date for CUET UG 2026 applications, providing relief to lakhs of students.

The online application process for CUET UG 2026 was already underway, but a large number of students had requested an extension. Considering the students' difficulties, the NTA decided to extend the application deadline. Candidates can now fill out the CUET UG 2026 form until 11:50 PM on February 4, 2026. This decision will benefit students who were unable to apply on time due to technical reasons, payment failures, or other difficulties.

According to the revised schedule released by the NTA, the last date for online application is February 4, 2026.  Students will then have until February 7, 2026, to submit the application fee. The correction window for making changes to the application will be open from February 9 to 11, 2026. The examination is tentatively scheduled for May 2026.

Which students will benefit from the extended deadline?

All students whose applications were incomplete, whose fees were not paid on time, or who faced technical problems with the website will benefit from the extended application date. Additionally, students who were unable to fill out the form earlier for any reason can now apply. The NTA has also advised students not to wait until the last minute and to complete the application process in a timely manner. They should carefully check all the information while filling out the form to avoid the need for corrections later. Candidates should also regularly check the notices issued on the official website. After completing the application process, candidates must log in to their dashboard and check the application status. In case of any errors or incomplete information, use the correction window at the appropriate time to avoid any problems with the admit card or the examination later on.

Enter your email ID and mobile number for new registration.
After logging in, fill in the required information.
