CUET UG Admit Card 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the new admit cards for CUET UG 2026. These are intended for candidates who have submitted requests to change their exam city or state. Such candidates can download their admit cards by visiting the official website.

Significant dissatisfaction was observed among thousands of students regarding the CUET UG examination centers. Many candidates were allotted centers in cities located hundreds of kilometers away from their homes. On the social media platform 'X', students consistently voiced their concerns regarding long-distance travel, associated expenses, and safety issues. Consequently, the NTA provided an option for candidates to request changes to their exam city and state. Following this process, the agency has now issued revised admit cards for 15,340 candidates.

According to the NTA, a total of 16,681 candidates had applied to change their centers. Of these, 15,340 candidates were allotted the alternative centers they had selected. This implies that approximately 92 percent of the candidates received their preferred centers. The agency further stated that about 79 percent of the candidates were allotted their preferred exam cities. Additionally, approximately 96.6 percent of the candidates have been assigned an examination center within one of their chosen cities.

When is the CUET UG Exam?

The CUET UG 2026 examination is set to commence today, May 11, and will continue until May 31. The examination will be conducted nationwide in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. The NTA has stated that examining the CBT mode helps make the testing process more organized and transparent.

Points to Keep in Mind While Downloading the Admit Card

The NTA has issued clear instructions stating that candidates must carry only their *revised* admit cards when appearing for the examination. The admit cards issued previously will no longer be considered valid. Furthermore, candidates are advised to carefully verify the details—including their name, exam date, time, and examination center information—provided on the new admit card immediately after downloading it.
