CUET UG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the City Intimation Slips and Admit Cards for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026 examination. The exam is scheduled to take place in the month of May. Meanwhile, today is the deadline for making corrections to the photograph submitted in the CUET UG application form.
Last Chance for Photo Correction
Issues regarding photograph mismatches were observed in the application forms of several students, prompting the agency to take action and issue an advisory. The NTA provided an opportunity for students affected by these photo-related issues to re-upload their photographs. Today—April 10—is the final date for making corrections to the photograph.
Important Points Regarding Photo Uploads
- Candidates must upload a recent photograph along with their signature and supporting documents.
- It is mandatory to have the photograph and the accompanying certificate attested by the Principal or Headmaster of your school or college.
- If these officials are unavailable, verification may be obtained from a Class-I Gazetted Officer (such as a Tehsildar, Revenue Officer, SDM, DM, or an official from an Indian Embassy).
- The certificate (Annexure-1) must be uploaded in PDF format.
When Will the Exam Be Held?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET (UG) 2026 examination from May 11 to May 31, 2026. The online registration process for the CUET (UG) 2026 application forms commenced during the periods of January 3 to February 4, 2026, and February 23 to February 26, 2026.
When Will the Exam City Intimation Slip Be Released?
For CUET UG 2026, the Exam City Intimation Slip will be released prior to the Admit Card. This slip will solely provide information regarding the city where the candidate’s examination center is located, enabling students to make their travel arrangements in advance. It is expected that the City Slip will be released during the last week of April or the first week of May.
When will the Admit Card be released?
The NTA typically releases admit cards a few days before the examination. The Admit Card for CUET UG 2026 is also expected to be released 3 to 5 days prior to the exam.
As the examination is likely to be conducted in May 2026 (between May 11 and May 31) this year, the Admit Card may be released during the first or second week of May.
