There is significant news for students intending to appear for the Common University Entrance Test (Undergraduate) — CUET UG 2026 — whose examination was originally scheduled for May 28. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially postponed the examination scheduled for May 28. This decision has been taken in view of Id-ul-Zuha (Bakrid).

**New Dates to be Announced Soon**
The National Testing Agency will soon announce the new date for the examination originally scheduled for May 28. For any information or to resolve any queries, students may contact the Help Desk at 011-40759000 or reach out via email at cuet-ug@nta.ac.in.

**Admit Cards to be Re-issued**
For the information of all students, the NTA will re-issue the admit cards approximately 3 to 4 days before the revised examination date, which candidates will be able to download online. Admit cards will not be sent via offline mode. For further details, students are advised to visit the official website.

**Examination to be Conducted in Two Shifts**
The NTA will examine two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second shift will be conducted from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

**Dress Code for the Examination**
The NTA advises all candidates appearing for the examination to take note of the following instructions:

All candidates are permitted to carry a transparent water bottle.
Candidates are permitted to wear religious items or symbols, provided they arrive at the examination center early to undergo a thorough security check. This point requires special attention.
Wearing religious threads, such as a *Kalava*, is permitted.

It is advisable to wear light-colored clothing (preferably white). If candidates feel the need to wear woolen clothing, they may do so, provided they arrive at the center early to undergo a security check.
It is advisable to wear regular shoes, slippers, or footwear with low heels.
