CUET UG 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued an important update for candidates appearing in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduate programs. The agency has released revised admit cards for those students whose examination dates were recently rescheduled. Affected candidates can now visit the official CUET website, cuet.nta.nic.in, to download their new hall tickets.
Previously, on May 24, 2026, the NTA issued a notice announcing the postponement of the examination scheduled for May 28, 2026, covering both shifts. The agency stated that the examination schedule had to be revised due to a change in the date of Eid al-Adha (Bakrid).
**Note the New Examination Dates**
Under the revised schedule, the examination will now be conducted in two phases. The first phase is scheduled for May 31, 2026, and admit cards for this phase have already been made available. Meanwhile, the second phase of the examination will be held on June 6 and June 7, 2026. The NTA has stated that admit cards for these dates will also be uploaded to the portal shortly.
**Examination Being Conducted Across India and Abroad**
The CUET UG 2026 examination commenced on May 11, 2026, and will continue until the first week of June. The examination is being conducted in various cities across the country, as well as at select examination centers abroad.
This year, approximately 15.68 lakh students have registered for the examination. Candidates were permitted to opt for a maximum of five subjects. Consequently, approximately 67.5 lakh test sessions are being conducted to accommodate around 12,906 distinct subject combinations.
**How to Download Your New Admit Card**
First, visit the official website: cuet.nta.nic.in.
On the homepage, click on the link titled “CUET UG 2026 Rescheduled Exam Admit Card.”
Now, enter your Application Number and Password, or your Date of Birth. After logging in, the new admit card will appear on the screen.
Download the admit card and keep a printout of it safe.
